Following the first survey (March 2020) on distance learning progress during the isolation period, S4J presents a second study covering April-May.
Based on the findings of the first study, observations and administrative data from various sources, S4J has dynamically adapted its intervention to address immediate needs of teachers and students in partner VET providers.
Although after a relatively short period (6 weeks) the situation in vocational education in May 2020 seems quite dynamic with rapid changes at all levels: central, governing institutions, teachers and students. Coordinating efforts between actors and the motivation of teachers and students to make their best out of this situation has led to an important transformation in vocational education: that of digitization and orienting the learning process towards students’ needs.
