In the past couple of years, we have witnessed an amazing change in the mentality of businesses towards vocational schools. More and more companies are understanding the importance of a VET system that produces qualified workers. Thus, they are more committed to support building a strong system that will be beneficial to them in the very near future.
In June, more companies joined the circle of businesses that support VET schools, raising the total number to 309. Seven of these new companies are based in Tirana and will provide apprenticeships to ‘Gjergj Canco’ students starting from September for students enrolled in the ICT, Electrotechnics and Electric profiles. The new partners are specialized in ICT, automatization of production lines, installation and servicing electrical systems and ventilation system, etc.
Other schools are also continuing to expand their network of businesses during the summer months, in preparations for the new cohort of students and to ensure students are offered the possibility to choose from as many professional profiles as possible.
