From 18-30 June 2018, students from ‘Kristo Isak’ vocational school in Berat participated in ‘Heritage+ Camp’, a joint initiative of the school, Berat Municipality, Artisan Centre ‘Margarita’, supported by the European Delegation in Albania. For two weeks, the participant had the opportunity to get to know better and practice some of the city’s traditional activities, such as wood carving, stone engraving, embroidery, traditional cooking, folk dance, drawing and painting of frescos, gardening, etc.
The ‘traditional cooking’ session was organized from 25-27 of June in the school’s kitchen, where students and instructors from the school showcased the preparation of some traditional dishes.
