In March 2018, vocational schools supported by S4J started to plan how to promote their offer to attract new students for the upcoming academic year. With help from S4J experts, promotional campaigns were designed by each of the schools and intensive activities were organized – ‘Meet Every Girl’ campaign, Open Days in vocational school, Open Days in business, distribution of leaflets in the city, concerts and events, to name a few.
To ensure distribution of the schools’ message in a wider scale, promotional videos were developed for 5 schools, respectively for the ‘Hamdi Bushati’ vocational school in Shkodra; ‘Kolin Gjoka’ vocational school in Lezha; ‘Kristo Isak’ vocational school in Berat; Industrial ‘Pavarësia’ school and the Commercial school in Vlora. The videos were broadcasted in local TV stations and LED screens in the respective cities during summer.
The videos have had tremendous impact in promoting the school offer and career prospective for young people in the region. Until 3rd of September, 492 students have enrolled in 5 schools supported by the project.
The videos are also a great way to get familiar with each of the schools supported by the project, their teachers, students and business partners.
