On September 28th, Swisscontact office in Tirana hosted the unusual visit of 12 students from all 6 schools supported by the project.
You might remember their faces from the coronation ceremony during the ‘Knowledge Fair’ event in May…Yes, they are the members of the Students’ Steering Committee!
The Students’ Steering Committee will serve as a bridge between ‘Skills for Jobs’ (S4J) and students from VET supported schools, serving to connect with them, get the students’ perspective for project initiatives, spread news, etc.
Bordi i nxënësve në projektin Aftësi për Punë S4J po merr formë! Në mbledhjen e parë, grupi i nxënësve diskutoi mbi…
Among other tasks, the Students’ Steering Committee (SSC) will also contribute in the design of Phase II of the project, by providing inputs for activities and interventions that the project might take up in the future.
The idea for the Students’ Steering Committee came as a request from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) during the 2nd S4J Steering Committee Meeting in October 2017. Although a bit late in timing, we are very glad that our project finally created such platform that will improve its cooperation with schools at student level.
