Quo Vadis ‘Skills for Jobs’?!
After nearly two-and-a -half adventurous years of fruitful partnership with 7 VET providers and over 300 private sector companies to promote vocational education and training, the end of the first phase of ‘Skills for Jobs’ (S4J) is approaching.
The strategy for the new phase, which is envisaged to start on May 1st, 2019, is currently being designed applying a participatory approach. From September 10 to 14, a series of technical workshops were organized with representatives of the Swiss Embassy in Albania, Ministry of Finance and Economy, the National Agency for VET and Qualifications (NAVETQ), the National Employment Service, VET partner providers and S4J team to decide on the strategic directions and main interventions for the future. Franz Kehl from KEK consulting, is supporting S4J team in designing the second phase.

Members of the Students’ Steering Committee (SSC), a structure established in May 2018, will also contribute in the design of Phase II of the project, by providing inputs for activities and interventions that the project might take up in the future.
