Each year, VET providers allocate a special fund from their budget to cover the expenses needed to develop their activity.
In this regard, ‘Skills for Jobs’ S4J is helping VET partner institutions to more effectively forecast the budgets needed to cover the costs for apprenticeships, maintenance of classrooms, laboratories, equipment, environment heating, participation of students and teachers in extracurricular activities.
The project is collaborating with field experts who are training and coaching financial staff and leaders of VET institutions to accurately forecast the needs for financial resources for a given period. An important item in the next year’s budget will be related to IT infrastructure maintenance, which is provided by the ‘Skills for Jobs’ S4J project.
