Improvement of Internal Structures and Processes for Enhanced Innovation and Efficiency

Improvement of Internal Structures and Processes for Enhanced Innovation and Efficiency

Functioning and efficient internal structures and processes of vocational education and training (VET) providers are imperative to keep pace with changes in the labour market and enhance innovation processes. Our primary objectives are as below:

Enhancement of Quality and Efficiency

The primary objective of Phase 3 is to follow through the initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of VET providers already tested in Phase 2. This will be achieved through concerted efforts to consolidate and strengthen internal structures, with a specific focus on the pivotal role of Development Units (DUs) in coordinating and driving various functions within VET institutions.

Harmonization of Internal Processes

Building upon successful strategies from Phase 2, this objective aims to intensify efforts to harmonize internal processes. This involves fostering greater synergies among key activities such as mid-term and annual planning, monitoring, and self-assessment. The goal is to establish a well-coordinated and responsive framework that adapts to labor market dynamics and efficiently contributes to the accreditation process.

Empowerment of VET Providers

The third objective focuses on empowering VET providers through the optimization of internal structures and processes. By equipping these institutions to effectively navigate evolving labor market demands and fostering innovation, Skills for Jobs aims to ensure that VET providers can efficiently serve the needs of teachers, learners, companies, and the broader community. This empowerment contributes to a more agile and effective vocational education and training landscape.
