One of the main objectives of the ‘Skills for Jobs’ project (S4J) is to provide a smooth transition of students and trainees from school or training to the world of work. Over 30% of young professionals graduating from vocational schools and vocational training centers in Albania decide to be self-employed providing their services to individuals and businesses. To help this ever-expanding group, the project joined Albanian Business Partner (ABP) to create Gati.al, an online platform that connects professionals to individuals and companies seeking various services.

The Platform of professionals Gati.al is already online and functional for all users. With a database of more than 2,600 registered and verified professionals, Gati.al is ready to satisfy the needs of every citizen seeking the services of professionals in each city of Albania.

On 1 May 2018, Gati.al was presented at the Job Fair held in Tirana on the Workers’ Day. The Gati.al stand was visited by the Prime Minister Rama and the Minister of Finance and Economy, Mr. Ahmetaj.

The Gati.al company, which in April 2018 won the ‘ICT Mobility of the Year’ award, is going to organize, during June, a platform promotion event where all stakeholders are invited to participate.
