Activities Towards Efficient and Innovative Developments Units

A 2-day national-level workshop for marketing and Career Guidance & Counseling Coordinators was held in April in cooperation with the National Employment and Skills Agency. During the workshop, marketing coordinators of S4J partner schools shared their experiences and served as mentors in working groups with their colleagues. Career Guidance & Counseling Coordinators presented their counseling activities for graduates, profile selection and orientation of middle school students.

For an efficient management and coordination, development units of S4J partner providers were trained on Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM) principles and were equipped with periodic monitoring instruments to timely address deviations from the plan. Swisscontact MRM principles were used to construct success indicators according to the results chain and monitoring plan.

Meanwhile, S4J facilitated 4 webinars for capacitating Project Development Coordinators of partner schools moderated by S4J project manager, Fation Dragoshi. Discussions focused on project ideas, components of the project proposal and applications for funding opportunities, finalized by presentation of project ideas by coordinators.

Finally, to share experiences on services that development units have offered to students, a series of 4 webinars was held with Career Counseling & Orientation Coordinators. They focused on practical tools for orientation of 9th grade students, counseling graduates and students on profile selection, as well as using employment portals to support students entering the labor market.
