Creating Attractive Online Learning Materials For Students

The pandemic exposed partner providers to a situation where students and teachers did not have available online learning materials for distance learning. To support partner VET providers in developing attractive and interactive digital learning materials, ‘Skills for Jobs’ facilitated online training sessions for teachers of partner VET providers by the Swiss company ‘Lernetz’. With 27 participants and 16 trained teachers, these sessions aimed to create experts in digital material development as well as professional trainers, much needed in this field.

For an engaging teaching experience, participants were presented the MAIPA scheme used for structuring teaching modules. Teachers worked in teams for specific subjects, creating student profiles, based on which they prepared digital materials. In the process, they received mentoring sessions by Lernetz colleagues. By the end of the training, everyone created several multimedia digital learning materials based on the target audience. Currently, 69 online subjects and 6 online practical modules are being prepared from 52 teachers of partner VET providers and 6 external experts.
