In a collaborative effort to strengthen the infrastructure of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Albania, Skills for Jobs (S4J), in partnership with the National Agency for Employment and Skills, organized a two-day regional training in March. This training focused on the Regulation and Manual for the Organization and Functioning of the Development Unit.

The primary objective of this activity was to enhance the capacities of development unit managers within VET institutions. This was achieved by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve the effectiveness of their operational procedures. The training concentrated on several key aspects, each crucial for the successful operation of development units:

• Strategic planning and effective monitoring.
• Quality assurance and the use of assessment instruments.
• The roles and responsibilities of managers and coordinators.
• Increasing transparency and effective communication.

This regional training also served as a valuable platform for exchanging best practices and fostering collaboration among VET institutions.
