Focus on Apprenticeships: Consolidating Apprenticeships in Business and Transferring Innovations in the VET System
14 Apr 2025
Skills for Jobs (S4J) is intensifying its support for partner schools in consolidating apprenticeships in businesses and preparing them for the transfer of S4J’s innovative processes to other schools.
To this end, during February strategic meetings have been conducted with key stakeholders involved in apprenticeships, where the drafting and implementation of operational plans for apprenticeships in business for the 2024-2025 school year were discussed in detail. The focus of these meetings was:
- Analysis of progress and identification of challenges, as well as the formulation of solutions to enhance the quality of apprenticeships in business.
- Clear guidance on the drafting, implementation, and monitoring of operational plans, ensuring they are effective and measurable.
- Preparation of a detailed strategy for transferring the model of apprenticeships to new partner schools, ensuring this process is sustainable and successful.
These strategic meetings mark a crucial step towards a sustainable apprenticeship system, ensuring that young people are equipped with the necessary skills for the job market and strengthening the connection between education and business.
