Including Digital and Soft Skills to Teaching Plans

S4J supported its partner providers for adequate teaching plans for the 2021-2022 school year. During May-June 2021, an assessment of the planning and implementation process for the school year 2020-2021 was conducted along with an evaluation of a sample of 150 yearly teaching plans. The evaluation identified areas for improvement in the process, highlighted best planning practices and the need for professional development of VET teachers.

Following the assessment, during July-September 2021, a team of pedagogical experts presented partner providers with the main findings and assisted them in drafting improved teaching plans for the next school year. Given the importance of digital and soft skills in the world of work, the findings from tracer of 2020 graduates, structured dialogue with the private sector, as well as the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, a special focus was given to the incorporation of digital and soft skills during planning.
