The abrupt isolation due to the spread of COVID-19 has mostly affected the main beneficiaries of the education system, students. Given the circumstances, enabling distance learning has become a priority.
To monitor and improve the distance learning process in VET schools, ‘Skills for Jobs’ has developed an assessment and monitoring framework. It is based on surveys with students and teachers, as well as ongoing documentation of the process. In the first study of its kind for VET in Albania, ‘Skills for Jobs’ presents the main results of the survey conducted at the end of March with students and teachers in 10 VET schools. The survey aims to understand their experience during distance learning as well as identify necessary steps for improvement.
