Teaching in a Modern Era: 182 Certified Teachers in Digital Pedagogy
In a significant effort towards modernizing the learning process within vocational schools, Skills for Jobs (S4J) has continued the implementation of its “Digital Pedagogy” course package. This initiative is designed to equip teachers with essential pedagogical and digital competencies for delivering contemporary and inclusive education.
Currently, efforts are underway to align the “Digital Pedagogy” package with SELFIE, the digital competence self-assessment tool for teachers, in close coordination with the National Agency for Vocational Education, Training and Qualifications.
This comprehensive package has been delivered in two phases:
Phase I (November 2024 – January 2025)
205 teachers from 6 partner schools of S4J participated in 8 asynchronous online courses delivered via the MësoVET platform. At the conclusion of this phase, 182 teachers successfully earned their certifications. The training modules covered key areas such as:
- Digital Infrastructure and Blended Learning Planning
- Student Assessment and Practical Application of Blended Learning
- Learning Based on Projects and Problems
- Inclusion and Accessibility in Learning

Phase II (March – May 2025)
This ongoing phase has enrolled 200 teachers in 3 accredited courses delivered through a hybrid format (asynchronous + synchronous). These courses offer a comprehensive learning experience recognized by ASCAP for the professional development of teachers in vocational education.
Building upon overwhelmingly positive feedback and high demand, the “Digital Pedagogy” package will be further extended to an additional 90 teachers from vocational schools across the country.
