The Role of Regulatory Acts in VET: National Training for the Effective Functioning of VET Institutions
Regulatory acts are official documents that define the operational methods of structures and internal procedures, the implementation of which ensures the efficient functioning of vocational education and training (VET) institutions.
Skills for Jobs (S4J) in collaboration with the National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES), conducted a national training cycle on the role and importance of recognizing and implementing regulatory acts in VET institutions. The activity, organized in February, took place in four regions: Tirana, Korça, Vlora, and Shkodra.
Main topics were:
- The role and importance of regulatory acts in institutional management
- Mechanisms for institutional functioning and human resource management
- Review and implementation of regulations and descriptions of work processes
After 9 years of experience and collaboration with partner schools, S4J supported the drafting of 9 internal regulations and 22 standard job descriptions, which have now been approved by NAES and will be used by all VET providers. This initiative supports all vocational schools in consolidating structures and managing work processes.
