‘TRAINING OF TRAINERS’ COURSES ON WEBMASTER AND GRAPHIC DESIGN COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY IN VLORA AND LEZHA
At ‘Skills for Jobs’ S4J, we recognize that learning is not confined to childhood or the classroom. Instead, we see learning as something that takes place on an ongoing basis from our daily interactions with others and with the world around us. To contribute into this direction, earlier this year we started piloting short-term courses, in partnership with industry leaders and private sector companies.
July marked the completion for the “Webmaster” course delivered at Vlora Vocational Training Centre, in collaboration with private sector company ABP, and for the “Graphic Designer” course delivered at the vocational “Kolin Gjoka” school in Lezha, in partnership with Protik Innovation Centre.
Over the months, both courses helped forge young professionals and future trainers that will deliver the course in both institutions. 16 students and trainees graduated from the ‘Webmaster’course and 19 students and trainees graduated from the ‘Graphic Designer’ course.
“The course surpassed our initial expectations not only by the number of participants, but also because it met the pedagogical objectives. 16 trainees who followed can now easily create a website from the simplest to the most Advanced. Some of them are ready to take the course to the next level,” says Altin Sejdini, trainer of the Webmaster course.
New courses and modules will soon be offered by S4J partner VET institutions. During the second half of July, a study that aims to identify market needs for new courses was initiated. The results of the study will be made available in the next months.
