Soft Skills: Now Part of Vocational Schools’ Teaching Program

The integration of soft skills in teaching requires a focus not only on the preparation and assessment of knowledge gained in general and vocational culture subjects and teaching practices, but also in identifying and emphasizing the importance of these skills in the process of teaching and communication in school (teacher-student, student-student, student-leader, parent-teacher relationships).

During this period, Skills for Jobs worked with the Human Development Promotion Center in collaboration with teachers of vocational “Gjergj Canco” school and industrial “Pavaresia” school to improve daily plans, for an integral development of soft skills through teaching techniques and assessment instruments, with an interdisciplinary approach.

Meanwhile, during December, all staff members of S4J partner schools were trained on soft skills and were presented instruments to teach soft skills to students as competencies needed to ensure success in the labor market.
