New Partnerships in the Albanian Fashion Industry
The new school year started with a new collaboration for vocational Technical-Economic School in Tirana. Students of “Textile-Confections” direction have now the opportunity to follow apprenticeships at the studio of the famous stylist Joni Peçi, who recently received the “Grand Master of Work” title from the President of the Republic.
Joni Peçi visited the school in September and got acquainted with school staff, students, and the new and modern school facilities, especially the textile laboratories where students create beautiful work. Here are his impressions from the school visit:
“Apart from the extraordinary investment in the school, I noticed lots of love and care in the way teachers treat students. I could see their desire to make students benefit as much as possible. I will offer students apprenticeships in my studio, at the same time introducing them to other fashion studios. I think that is how the next big names in fashion will be created.”

In the beginning of the school year, students of “Textile-Confections” direction visited Joni Peçi’s studio, where they are currently following their apprenticeship. Joni will visit other S4J partner schools that offer this direction.
