Supporting Coordinators: Enhancing VET Through Training and Collaboration

Skills for Jobs in collaboration with the National Agency for Education, Vocational Training, and Qualifications, has drafted and implemented an immersive theoretical and practical training program designed to equip all coordinators of public VET providers with essential knowledge and skills in project development, tracer, and marketing functions. The objective is to empower coordinators to effectively carry out their roles, elevate teaching quality, and strengthen VET institutions.

The program consisted of three comprehensive training modules: “National Training of Coordinators of Development Projects in the Development Unit,” held from March 2 to April 8; “National Training of Marketing Coordinators in the Development Unit,” conducted from March 13 to April 1; and “National Training of Tracer Coordinators,” which took place on April 28-29. These trainings were conducted both online and through face-to-face sessions, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning experience.

Two practical guidelines will soon be published, serving as valuable resources for coordinators in their day-to-day work. These guidelines will gauge the criteria, procedures, approaches and formats that coordinators employ in their roles.

To foster a vibrant community of learning and collaboration, dedicated Communities of Practice have been established on Mësovet online platform. This platform serves as a virtual hub for coordinators to engage in knowledge sharing, exchange experiences, and collectively address challenges and opportunities related to their roles and functions. Through these communities, coordinators have the opportunity to undertake joint initiatives and drive positive change within the vocational education system.
