Empowering Directors in VET for Upgraded Institutional Management

The Training of Trainers Program for the Center for School Leadership in VET has started, marking an important milestone in professional development.

Trainers delved into the intricacies of the legal and institutional context that govern vocational education and training. Additionally, they were introduced to three initial modules that will be offered as part of the qualification program for directors in VET.

This initiative is the result of a collaborative effort between ‘Skills for Jobs’, the National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES), and the Center for School Leadership (CSL). The partnership, established in 2021, aims to tailor the qualification program to align with the specific requirements and unique characteristics of VET institutions.

“The Center for School Leadership has been established as a result of cooperation between the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) and the Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth (MoESY). Its aim is to support the professional development of in-service and aspiring principals/vice principals of public or private pre-university educational institutions by administering compulsory training, and certification processes, and providing on-the-job continuous professional development training.
