Skills for Jobs’ Third Phase: A New Vision for a Greater Impact in VET

On September 22nd, the third phase of the implementation of two projects by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) was launched, namely “Skills for Jobs” (S4J) project and the “Skills Development for Employment” (SD4E) project, implemented by UNDP.

The development of the new project phases was inspired by and based on the National Employment and Skills Strategy 2030 and the portfolio of the Swiss Cooperation Program in Albania, aligning their activity frameworks and further integrating their support into the education and vocational training sector in Albania. This common portfolio will ensure that interventions create synergies for greater impact.

After nearly one decade of supporting 10 VET providers in Albania, in its third phase Skills for Jobs aims to transfer its successful innovation objects (Quality in WBL, Business Relations and Network, Offer Diversification and Upskilling, Digitalization in VET and Internal Structures and Processes) to the VET system as a whole.
