The National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES), in collaboration with “Skills for Jobs” (S4J), organized a national training dedicated to human resource management in VET institutions. The event brought together directors, HR specialists, and continuing professional development coordinators, along with representatives from the National Agency for Vocational Education, Training, and Qualifications (NAVETQ).
On the first day, NAES’s representatives presented the HR management manual for VET institutions and addressed the main pillars of the process: staff needs planning, transparent recruitment, and NAES’s role in monitoring. Participants shared best practices and the challenges they face in the daily operation of vocational schools.
The second day focused on performance evaluation, the use of tools and evidence, and planning for continuing professional development—from analysis to monitoring.
This activity aimed to strengthen the capacities of VET institutions for more transparent, effective, and developmental human resource management, directly contributing to the improvement of vocational education quality.
