On 22–23 October, the regional event marking the 10th anniversary of DC dVET brought together around 100 experts to deepen the discussion on dual VET across the region. The event highlighted the importance of constructive cooperation between VET providers, businesses, and policymakers, as well as the need to further develop the dual model in line with the socio-economic dynamics of the coming decade.

In this context, “Skills for Jobs” (S4J) contributed with Albania’s perspective on the transformation of vocational education and the integration of the dual model. The Project Manager, Mr. Fation Dragoshi, presented S4J’s journey and the project’s impact over the years in transforming vocational schools and strengthening their cooperation with the private sector.

In his remarks, he also introduced the dual VET initiative in Albania, outlining its key features and the mutual benefits it brings to all stakeholders, demonstrating that systemic change happens where the needs and commitment of actors come together.

The event included discussions and collaborative sessions that encouraged the exchange of good practices and generated new ideas for the sustainable improvement of dual VET systems across the region.
