As part of efforts to improve the quality of work-based learning, the National Agency for Vocational Education, Training and Qualifications (NAVETQ) with the support of “Skills for Jobs” (S4J), implemented a series of training sessions for vocational and practical subject teachers on the effective organization and delivery of work-based learning in businesses during March-April.
The training aimed to strengthen teachers’ capacities in planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, assessing, and reporting on work-based learning, while fostering closer and more effective cooperation with partner companies.
The activities were delivered both online and through two-day in-person sessions at partner vocational schools, involving around 80 teachers from new partner schools of the project: “Arben Broci” School in Shkodër, “Stiliano Bandilli” School in Berat, Korçë Technical Vocational School, and “Nazmi Rushiti” School in Dibër.
Through a combination of theoretical sessions, structured discussions, and practical group work, participants shared real-life experiences from their daily practice, reflected on the challenges they face in organizing workplace-based learning, and identified practical ways to improve these processes.
