Quality of Work-Based Learning in Companies

Quality of Work-Based Learning in Companies

Skills for Jobs is advancing vocational education and training through a wholehearted commitment to Work-Based Learning (WBL) within companies. Our adaptable model has transformed apprenticeships in eight diverse industries across seven regions, closely aligning with curricula and industry demands. With the endorsements of the National Agency for VET and Qualifications and the National Agency for Employment and Skills, our model is now spreading rapidly among public VET providers and companies.

As we embark on Phase 3, our primary goal is to improve and elevate the quality of Work-Based Learning (WBL) within companies while expanding the model’s implementation in the VET System in Albania.

Strengthening WBL Quality

We will prioritize:

  • Refining WBL by coordinating planning;
  • Improving apprentice onboarding;
  • Enhancing in-company instructor capacities;
  • Elevating assessment standards.

These improvements reach beyond partners, ensuring excellence across the board.

Boosting Private Sector Collaboration

Engaging the private sector takes center stage, driving a dualized VET system where quality and industry partnership shine. This dynamic collaboration envisions a vocational landscape finely tuned to industry demands.

Skills for Jobs is driving vocational education and training towards a future where it smoothly aligns with industry needs. Through our dedication to improving Work-Based Learning and collaborating closely with the private sector, we are shaping a model where vocational education and training supports outstanding professionals and economic growth.
