When VET providers engage in dialogue with businesses, they manage to understand the needs of the labor market for skills and adjust their offerings accordingly.

In this regard, S4J supported “Fan S. Noli” school to organize a locally structured dialogue session with the most important companies operating in the ICT sector in the Korca region.

An important part of the discussion was curricula improvement and the training of young professionals through long-term apprenticeships in companies. Apprenticeships have started for 33 students from the 13th grade from “Fan S. Noli” school in 9 partner providers of the private sector.

25 companies are already in partnership with the school, allowing 12th-grade classes to start apprenticeships in companies, thus surpassing initial predictions and planning.
