S4J partner providers are awarded RCF grants

In the Third Call of Regional Challenge Fund, 3 of our partner schools: Vlorë Commercial School, “Hamdi Bushati” Vocational High School, and Korçë Vocational Technical School were part of winning consortia and awarded competitive grants, with a total value of 1.7 million euros.

We take pride in S4J’s collaborative efforts with partner schools, which have led to the development of successful models for enhancing school-private sector relations, streamlining digitalization processes, and optimizing approaches to projects and funding for professional development and training.

In the previous two rounds, 5 other partner schools of S4J, Salih Ceka School, Gjergj Canco School, Kolin Gjoka School, Tirana Economic Technical School, and Kristo Isak School have been awarded RCF grants, with a total value of 4.3 million euros.

The Regional Challenge Fund (RCF) is a financing facility designed to increase youth employability and boost the competitiveness of enterprises in Western Balkan 6 by funding investments in selected cooperative training projects that are implemented through partnerships between vocational training institutes and the enterprises. The funds were commissioned to the KfW Development Bank and executed by the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6-CIF), a joint initiative of chambers of commerce from the region.
