7 out of 10 graduates employed 1 year after graduation!
We could proudly say that the first 6 months of 2022 were successfully completed with a round of highlights and successes.
Findings from the latest tracer report show that 7 in 10 (71%) graduates in 2021 from partner providers of the “Skills for Jobs” project are employed one year after graduation. This percentage is two times bigger than the percentage of employment in the 2015-2016 academic year, thus marking the highest levels over the years. The percentage of those who do not work and do not study has been halved compared to the cohort 2015-2016. For graduates in 2021, only 10% were pursuing further studies and were not employed. The unemployment rate has decreased to 18%.
Graduates from partner providers are earning more income year after year. Nearly 1 in 5 graduates (19%) are earning NET 80,001 ALL or more in their first job, at 20 years of age. The share of those earning as much as the minimum salary or below nearly halved from 15% to 8%, while the share of those earning the top salaries increased 8-fold from 5% to 40%. This is a clear sign of the appreciation of companies hiring these young professionals with vocational skills. 57% of the graduates working responded that they think their current job relates to the studies they conducted in vocational education. The findings also show a positive correlation between engaging in apprenticeships during studies and the relevance of their current job with previous studies.
