PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A WAY TO ORIENT STUDENTS IN CAREER

Choosing a career, as a very important step for the future of young people, requires the support of parents, teachers and career counselors.

To assist in this process, requests and job descriptions for 20 professions have been drafted to give young people an overview of school applications in the desired profession. They show the physical, personal and social demands on the competencies acquired in school, leading to the reflection: Can I meet these requirements? Do I want to complete them?

Application descriptions include the following 20 professions:

Hotel-Tourism: Reception, Bar & Restaurant Services, Tourist Guide, Cuisine
ICT: Support for ICT users, Data networks, Programming, Website development
Economics-Business: Trade
Mechanics: Metal Structures, Metalworking Machines, Metalworking Technology, Mechanical Maintenance & Repairs, Metallurgy & Foundry
Vehicle Services: Electro-Auto Services, Motor Services, Generic Services, Bodywork Services, Heavy Vehicle Services
Installer of thermohydraulic systems: Solar and hydraulic panels
