In cooperation with National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES), we organised an event dedicated to the presentation of the first national assessment of annual plans in vocational schools, as well as the methodology and tools that will be used going forward to assess their quality.
The event brought together representatives from the Embassy of Switzerland in Albania, the Skills for Jobs (S4J) project, NAES, and all vocational schools from across the country, creating an important platform for dialogue and institutional collaboration.
This assessment represents a significant step toward improving planning processes in vocational schools by introducing, for the first time, a unified national approach to evaluating annual planning quality.
During the meeting, participants were presented with the key findings of the analysis conducted across 28 vocational schools and discussed the need to move beyond formal “paper-based” plans toward realistic, data-driven plans focused on measurable results and institutional development.
The event also served as an open platform for exchanging ideas on how the assessment findings can be used to improve future annual planning processes, contributing to more effective management and higher quality in vocational education institutions.
