41 teachers trained to make learning more attractive, using ‘new ways of learning’
10 May
Another 41 teachers are trained in ‘New Ways of Learning’ and ‘Development of Digital Learning Contents’.
One of the greatest challenges teachers are currently facing in the classroom, relates to the work they need to do to keep students’ attention and enthusiasm alive during the lesson.
To address this challenge, ‘Skills for Jobs’ project supports teachers in partner schools to use ‘student-centered’ methods during the lesson, for both vocational and general subjects.
Learning through games, projects, using online learning platforms and technological devices are part of the methods commonly known as ‘New Ways of Learning’. They help teachers transfer learning concepts to students in ways that are easy to understand and remember. The ‘fun’ element is added to the lesson; students participation increases and the school becomes more attractive to them.
To this end, during April, 18 teachers from the vocational school ‘Hamdi Bushati’ in Shkodra and 23 teachers from the Technical-Electrical Vocational School ‘Gjergj Canco’ in Tirana were trained for the ‘Development of student-centered Bended Learning, using virtual learning platforms’ and for the ‘Preparation of Digital Learning Contents according to pedagogical principles’.
