As part of efforts to improve the quality of work-based learning, the National Agency for Vocational Education, Training and Qualifications (NAVETQ), in cooperation with the National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES) and with the support of “Skills for Jobs” (S4J), implemented a series of training sessions for vocational and practical subject teachers on the effective organization and delivery of work-based learning in businesses during March-April.
The training aimed to strengthen teachers’ capacities in planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, assessing, and reporting on work-based learning, while fostering closer and more effective cooperation with partner companies.
The activities were delivered both online and through two-day in-person sessions at partner vocational schools, involving around 80 teachers from new partner schools of the project: “Arben Broci” School in Shkodër, “Stiliano Bandilli” School in Berat, Korçë Technical Vocational School, and “Nazmi Rushiti” School in Dibër.
Through a combination of theoretical sessions, structured discussions, and practical group work, participants shared real-life experiences from their daily practice, reflected on the challenges they face in organizing workplace-based learning, and identified practical ways to improve these processes.
