The Swiss Cooperation Programme 2026–2028 has been officially launched, marking a new chapter in the long-standing partnership between Switzerland and Albania. The programme represents a new financial commitment of CHF 58 million, focusing on strengthening democratic and inclusive governance, economic development and employment, as well as improving infrastructure services and enhancing resilience to climate change.
This new phase builds on more than 30 years of Swiss–Albanian cooperation and a total support exceeding CHF 500 million, reflecting a continued commitment to the country’s long-term development.

At this important event, “Skills for Jobs” (S4J) was presented as one of the key initiatives contributing to the transformation of vocational education in Albania, with a strong focus on strengthening the dual VET model and its link to the labour market.
The programme highlighted concrete achievements in this field, emphasizing the positive impact of cooperation between institutions, vocational schools, and the private sector in improving the quality of vocational education.
One of the most inspiring moments of the event was the testimony of Flavia Margjeçi from Vocational “Kolin Gjoka” School, who shared her personal experience in dual VET, offering a first-hand perspective on the benefits and opportunities of this model.
