Skills for Jobs (S4J) in cooperation with the National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES) organised an event in May dedicated to the presentation of the first national assessment of annual plans in vocational schools, as well as the methodology and tools that will be used for their future quality assessment.
The event brought together representatives from the Embassy of Switzerland, S4J, NAES and vocational schools from across the country, creating an important platform for dialogue and institutional collaboration.
This assessment represents a significant step towards improving planning practices in vocational schools by introducing, for the first time, a unified national approach to assessing the quality of annual planning.
During the event, the key findings of the analysis conducted across 28 vocational schools were presented and discussed. Particular attention was given to the need to move from formal, compliance-driven planning towards more strategic, evidence-based plans focused on measurable results and institutional development.
The event also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas on how the assessment findings can be used to strengthen future planning processes, ultimately contributing to improved quality, effectiveness and accountability in the management of vocational education and training institutions.
